At 21:08 hours, Station 51 (First West Chester) and 53 (Fame of West Chester) and 52 (Goodwill of West Chester) for RIT were dispatched to 542 Riverbend Lane for the house fire with numerous calls.  Chief 53 arrived on scene and established command reporting three buildings well involved.  Command requested additional tankers 39 (West Bradford) and 36 (Po-Mar-Lin) in addition to the second alarm bringing the remainder of engine company 39 and 25 (Longwood).  Fire reported under control at 22:08 hours with all hands working.

At 09:21 hours, Stations 62 (Ridge) was dispatched to 71 Zeiber Road for the chimney fire.  Deputy 62 arrived on scene with visible fire from the side of the house near the chimney.  Deputy 62 requested an upgrade to a building response bringing Montgomery County Engine Company 51 (Linfield).  Engine 62-2 arrived and went in service with the 1 3/4 line to the side of the house.  62's crew contained the fire to the chimney area with negative extension to the rest of the house.  Fire reported under control at 09:49 hours.
